Hey, I'm Elora.

Founder of elorasong®

My journey to sobriety in 2007 wasn’t just about putting down the bottle—it was about learning to break free from survival mode, trust myself again, and finding a way to live that actually felt like mine.

As a U.S. Navy veteran, I know what it means to be the only one in the room who looks like you. I know the weight of wearing the “strong Black woman” armor while quietly struggling inside. And I know how hard it can be to find a recovery space where you don’t have to shrink, explain, or prove yourself.

That’s why I created the elorasong—a culturally aligned recovery community for sober and sober curious Black women veterans ready to reclaim, renew, and refine their lives beyond the uniform. Here, we do more than talk about sobriety. We rebuild self-trust, set boundaries without guilt, find purpose beyond the uniform, and embrace healing that honors who we are.

My coaching isn’t just professional—it’s deeply personal. I’ve been where you are. I know what it’s like to feel stuck between the past and the future, unsure if you even deserve (or will ever grow to know) peace. On the other hand, I also know what’s possible when you decide to choose yourself.

So if you’re tired of doing this alone, know this: you don’t have to anymore.

🌿 Let’s walk this journey together. Learn how here.
